A great article, Alan. As a Dad of five (four boys), it sounds like you have your priorities straight! We dream of adventuring with our boys, but if you spent all that time when they are little to work on the boat, they wouldn't want to be with you when you had it ready! It's amazing how quickly you go from "I don't have a second to myself" to "geez, everyone's at work, on a date, or at practice, what will I do this evening"! Keep up the good parenting!

Lookin' GOOD! Old Codger wants me to build him a table like yours. He was a little offended by your comment about a stinkpot! As if they are somehow inferior! he says he's as good as any old baggy-wrinkle any time. And better when the breeze ain't a-blowin'!

We hope ya get her done before the boys grow up! Have you chosen a name yet?

the thinking you will have time at work is where I'm at, i have a great work space at work but there is a 100 to do's in front of the boat at work. The hours between kids have gone to sleep and kids have not woken up yet hopefully will give you more boat time. I really got a lot out of your last youtube series in building my 5.80 thanks for that.

Thanks Bruce glad they helped . Yes kids asleep is the way. Only trouble is that is when we are the most tired! On the plus side you learn to work very efficiently or at least franticly.
